Mushroom Tart


  • 1 1/4 cups Wholesome mushrooms
  • 1 1/4 cups Wholesome spinach
  • Flour
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup goat cheese, crumbled


Preheat oven to 400 °F. On a floured surface, roll puff pastry onto a baking sheet.

Toss onion slices into a saucepan and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Season with salt. Cover and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes, until onions begin to brown. Set aside.

In a saucepan, toss Wholesome mushrooms with 1 tablespoon of oil – cover and cook for 5 minutes, until tender and all the liquid evaporates. Add Wholesome spinach to the saucepan – season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Drain liquid.

Top pastry dough with mushroom-spinach mixture. Scatter onion and crumbled goat cheese on top. Bake for 15 minutes, until cheese is lightly browned. Serve and enjoy.
